I'm not so sure... But I know that my dad knows.
Universal remote codes for the Polaroid PDM 0722 portable DVD player typically include codes like 0170, 0190, and 0380. However, it's essential to consult your universal remote's manual for the specific code search method, as codes can vary by remote brand. If these codes do not work, you may need to perform a code search to find a compatible one.
Polaroid TVs typically work with universal remote controls that are compatible with various brands. Many universal remotes can be programmed to operate Polaroid TVs using a code search feature or by entering specific codes for Polaroid models. Additionally, some Polaroid TVs may also be compatible with remote controls designed for similar brands. Always check the compatibility list of the universal remote before purchasing.
To program an RCA remote to control a Polaroid TV DVD combo, you can try using the code 02212. Begin by turning on the TV, then press and hold the "TV" button on the RCA remote until the indicator light turns on. Enter the code 02212 and release the "TV" button; the indicator light should turn off if the code is accepted. If this code doesn't work, you may need to try other codes listed in the RCA remote's manual for Polaroid devices.
The Sony DVD Recorder RDR-GXD455 may not be compatible with all universal remotes that have a dot button and digital/analog buttons, as compatibility often depends on the specific codes and protocols used by the devices. While the Sony Remote RM-V310 includes these buttons, it may not be transmitting the correct signals or codes required by the RDR-GXD455. To ensure compatibility, check if the universal remote you are considering supports the specific model of your DVD recorder. Additionally, consult the user manual for both the remote and the DVD recorder for any necessary setup instructions or codes.

I called Polaroid and they said they don't HAVE universal codes (But plan to do so some time in the future). I was given a DHX-202 from a friend (who didn't have the remote) when he got a new DVD player. Polaroid offered to SELL me a remote for $19.95 (plus shipping I assume). But when the going price for a new (BASIC) DVD player is aroun d $30 ... I refuse to pay two thirds of that for just a remote. If you're like me ... you'll be watching eBay, and craigslist. There is a company on eBay selling NEW remotes for the DHX-202 but its nearly $40 ... more than the DVD is worth!
