Under the driverside dash or under the passager side dash
Trouble? Noise maybe or a wild speedo gage? Unscrew the cable at the dash side (from under the hood) and spray some WD40 inside the cable. Try that or replace the cable.
Underneath the cowl you can get to them under the dash
Check for a blown fuse in the fuse box under the dash.

The cable runs from the release under the dash to the adjustment bracket under the Silverado. Remove the nut at the adjustment bracket and disconnect the cable. Pull the cable at the dash end for some slack, and disconnect from the dash release. The cable can now be pulled out and replaced.
The OBD hook up is located in the driver's side footwell, behind the center console. On our Mustang, the OBD II plug is located under the dash near the steering column. However, it does not use the cable specifically for Ford; it uses the interface cable used on European cars.

The Mustang has 2 fuse boxes. The lighter fuse is located under the dash on the drivers side. The fusebox under the hood is for the engine.
