An accident in a workplace or venue could happen for many reasons, and, at the time of the incident, the factor or multiple factors which caused the accident might not be immediately evident. Reporting an accident enables an investigation to take place into the cause of the accident. The aim of this investigation will be to find out the root cause of the accident. The environmental factors and circumstances present at the time of the accident will be taken into account, allowing investigators to discover any underlying problems.
It actually means An unfortunate incident. Example: he met with an accident.
When classifying a plane "crash", the FAA refers to it as either an Accident or an Incident. An Accident is when there is major damage to an airplane and/or injury or death. An Incident only involves minor damage to the airplane or a few minor injuries.Recommend the FAA or the NTSB website.ANSWER 2any accident that is caused intentionally in any way by someone is not an "accident" - an incident is any thing that happens that is not an accident as definied in the above answer - thus an intentionally caused incident, even if it is fatal or has major damage, is not an accident but an incident - hopefully that's not too confusing!Another thoughtI was always under the impression that it was simply a matter of cost. If the repairs exceeded a specific dollar amount, or man hours required for repair, then it was categorized as an accident. However, it certainly makes sense that other factors, such as injury and/or death, would be considered.
One way of describing a "hazardous materials incident" would be "an accident where hazardous materials are present." However, many people are uncomfortable with the use of the word "accident" which implies an unplanned event that could not have been avoided. That is why the word "incident" is used in the first place. It does not carry any implication of inevitability.
AnswerYes, and by any means, it is.
it depends, if there is a fire then it should be thefire brigadewho is in control but if there is any other incident it should be for the police to handle.
Reporting an exposure incident is important because the quality improvement and root cause analysis processes can help find any improvements that might prevent a future episode. The report allows you and your colleagues to improve safety in the workplace.
It is important to record an accident a child may have had because if it had any affect in the near future, you'll know what the cause might have been. Also, it's just to remind you if you're a baby sitter to tell the parent about the incedent (otherwise it would be seen as irresponsible). Hope that helped! :D
In the event there is an accident, a malfunction, or incident on the LFX range, accurate information concerning the accident or incident must be relayed to the local range control in a timely manner. How long do you have to submit the written report?

i think there will be an investigation and trial for the cause of the fireAdded: If by "accident" you mean an automobile collision - even if you were not charged with the incident, if you used any Fire Dept. services (e.g.: you were transported by ambulance) you DID use their services. Some municipalities have begun to charge for this formerly 'free' service. I would turn the bill over to your insurance company (you DO have insurance don't you?) and let them handle it.
Any accident can cause your insurance to go up even if it wasn't your fault.
