What is scissors exercise?

The scissors exercise is an ab exercise. To do scissors lie on your back with your arms at your sides and your legs together. Bracing your abs, lift your heels about six inches off the ground. This is the starting position. To begin the exercise, move your feet outward toward, keeping your heels six inches off the ground. Your legs should now make a V shape. Once you've opened your legs as far as they will go, reverse the movement until your feet are touching, remembering to keep your heels six inches off the ground at all times. Repeat.
Keys to remember are:
1.) DON'T arch your back
2.) Keep you abs tight by focusing on keeping your belly button sucked in toward your spine.
3.) Do the movement smoothly, not jerkily.
4.) Don't let your heels touch the floor OR raise up any higher than six inches off the floor.
A beginner's time for the exercise is 30 seconds. Intermediate, 30 seconds to a minute. Advanced, 60 seconds to 2 minutes.
