What worked for my Espace IV was: With keycard in and engine off: Push the button on the end of the control stalk until the 'Service now due' shows in the display. Push and hold the button. After a while the 'Service now due' starts to flash. Keep the button held in. After a while the display changes to 'Service in 18,000 miles' and flashes. At this point let go of the button. Job done.
