∙ 15y agoChristmas is celebrated by Christians as Christmas mark the birthday of Jesus Christ. Diwali, also sometimes spelled as Deepawali, is celebrated by the religions which originated in India, which are Hinduism,Buddhism,Jainism and Sikhism.Though they don't celebrated it together but they all celebrate it in same way. Decorating their houses and places of workship and even shops with candles and light. The reasons also vary. But there is no reason in celebrating Diwali as it is not the birth of anybody as is in the case of Christmas.
