A few layers of cells forms the basic packing tissue. This tissue is called parenchyma, A type of permanent tissue. It consists of relatively unspeciallised cells with thin cell walls. They are live cells. They are usually loosely packed and have large spaces between them. Then cholenchyma-this tissue provides support to plants and also stores food. In some situations, it contains chlorophyll and performs photosynthesis. Scalenchyma-this tissue makes plant hard and stiff. The cells of this tissue are dead. Example- bark of tree

Simple columnar tissue falls under larger group called epithelium.
Simple cuboidal epithelial tissue lines the surface of the kidney's tubules. These simple cuboidal cells absorb and transport the various substances that are filtered by the kidney.
Bone tissue.
They are modifications of simple columnar epithelial tissue.
This tissue is simple squamous, a type of epithelium. It is the thinnest tissue, one cell thick, since gases are exchanged in the aleoli and capillaries surrounding them.

Basement membrane is another name for the fibrous connective tissue found in simple cuboidal epithelium. It provides structural support and helps anchor the epithelial cells to the underlying connective tissue.
