This is said to work for some people. I would be skeptical and not have a surgery that was not thought out thoroughly.
I think you might mean apnea, not apena. Apnea means to stop breathing (without intending to do so) It is not a food borne illness.
It could cause damage whether they have sleep apnea or not. They could have a heart attack, or bang their head on something if you startle them. What's more, they will wake up angry and alarmed, so there's a good possibility they will damage you in some way!
In short, yes, depending on whether you meet certain qualifications. Sleep apnea is often treatable but can result in serious health issues that could prevent one from working. Veterans who have sleep apnea to the extent that they must use a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine for the condition are eligible for 50 percent disability.
One of my favorite sources for information is Wikipedia. Wikipedia will give you a basic understanding of sleep apena. If you have any nurse friends or checking with your own DR can also give you current information.
With Sleep Apnea, you will experience breathing pauses that can last from a few seconds to minutes and may occur more than five times an hour to 100 times per hour. The most common type of sleep apnea is Obstructive Sleep Apnea which is caused by a blockage of the airway, when your throat muscles intermittently relax and block your airway during sleep. Central Sleep Apnea, is a less common form of apnea which causes an individual to stop breathing during sleep for a period of 10 seconds or more before restarting again. This happens when the brain fails to send signals to the diaphragm to breathe. One may be unaware of apnea events since they happen while you are asleep. When breathing pauses, we partially wake up from sleep due to which sleep is interrupted, and we may often feel tired and irritable the next day. According to NIH's National centre on Sleep Disorders Research, sleep apnea may lead to poor sleep quality resulting in serious health issues like increased risk for high blood pressure, heart attacks, heart failure, stroke, obesity, and diabetes. Common Treatment Options for Sleep Apnea include: Lifestyle Changes Medication Positive Airway Pressure (PAP DEVICES) Dental appliance therapy Surgery

Yes. Elvis had severe asthma, insomia, sleep walking, and sleep apena. Elvis never forgot that he was born after his brother, Jesse Garon, who died at birth (i.e. born stillborn). Elvis and his parents were very very poor. Elvis' Father Vernon had physcial/back problems, unsteady employment, and at one point spent time in Jail (note: he made full restitution, befriended/apologized to everyone involved, and never got in trouble again). However, Elvis was loved and beloved by his mother Gladys and as a family they made the best of their situation (i.e. food, clothes, going to church, school, etc.).
Sleep walking, sleep talking, sleep eating, and sleep sex are all known sleep activities.
they sleep like we sleep and they sleep why we sleep because we need energy and strength
