∙ 11y agoIn terms of working intelligence, German Shepherds are third out of all dog breeds, with Border Collies at number 1, and Poodles at number 2.
Poodles were often used as police dogs due to their intelligence. However they were replaced by German Shepherds because of the latter's prescence - they are a much stronger and more intimidating breed.

∙ 13y agoMost likely a German Shepherd! It really depends on the dog, but it seems a German Shepherd knows slightly more than a Golden Retriever. From all the calculations in America, tests on German Shepherds have proved there are more German Shepherd's than Golden retrievers in the US.
