If you mean why is it bad but I like it anyway: tobacco has 7,000 chemicals in it. Many cause damage to the body (heart and lungs) and many of them are addictive. Not just nicotine is addictive. The companies which make them adjust the levels of the chemicals to make them even more addictive so you will have a harder time to stop. You might as well burn and smoke $10 bills each time. Don't you have something else you would like to buy or spend your money on? The companies have labeled their packages to say that they cause cancer. If you smoke them anyway, they can't be sued. And your non-smoking friends don't think it is "cool". Every time you light up, you pay a company who's only purpose is to see you hurt and even dead. How about the stories you don't know about: the mom of 3 who was dead in 6 months or her brother who has two years left to live. Their mother isn't sure if she can go through it again. But you are very young and part of your brain hasn't matured enough so that you can't see that the very high cliff edge you are on is only a step away.
