There are many good reasons to attend a catholic school, but I only have time to name a few. First off, if you are a religious student you can both get an education and learn about Christ. Secondly, The discipline in catholic schools are usually tighter than that of public schools, meaning the students are usually safer and more respectful than public school kids. Lastly, depending on how you see this, their uniform policy is a good way to not only save money on constantly buying school clothes but also reduces discrimination against what others wear. In other words, if you were in a catholic school and a student walked up to you and said "you dress funny", the joke's on them because you're wearing exactly what they're wearing.

For the most part, it is Catholic children who attend a Catholic school (also called a "parochial school"). But there have always been a small number (perhaps 10%) of non-Catholic students who attend these schools.

The reason why Catholic children attend these schools is their parents want them exposed to a solid education that includes both secular subjects (like math and English) and religious subjects taught from a Catholic point of view. The reason non-Catholics will sometimes send their children to a Catholic school is these schools often have a reputation for getting results: they are known for their decorum and discipline, strong moral values, and emphasis on studying.

The highest benefits of going to a Catholic school is a heightened knowledge of Catholicism and bringing the student closer to God through biblical studies and classes. Catholic schools also teach that everything assists students in bringing them closer to other humans and closer to God.

Catholic schools rank among the best in the nation; so, if one would like to insure that his children receive the best education one would send his child to the best of schools. Plus, even if one were to live in a "bad" area - where the schools are subpar - there shall you find a "shining star" a Catholic school.

Let's not mention Catholic Colleges! In short, if one wants a good education, a good Catholic upbringing, and a safe environment there is no other place to study.

Catholic AnswerHistorically, there have been two kinds of "Catholic schools", there have been the schools which were started by the Catholic Church, which really was the precursor of modern education. Mostly the Benedictine monks (and to a lesser extent, the Sisters) started schools to educate young people. Outside of the monastic schools, often the only formal education in a village would be to send a young man to the local priest for schooling in languages, math, etc.

.

The second type of Catholic school, which was extremely popular in the United States, and to some extend in other countries, is the Catholic grammar of high school. Before this generation, all "public" education in the United States was based on a protestant model. I remember, as a youth, having to memorize a psalm from the King James Version of The Bible every week in history class - in public school. These Catholic schools were started by the immigrant Catholics would primarily wanted their children to learn their faith and receive an education without the protestant indoctrination so common, although unstated, in public school. Now, in the late twentieth century and twenty-first century, it is not so much the protestant faith being taught in public schools, but the secular or atheistic faith. The faith that science can answer all questions, and don't even think about asking about God.

.

Catholics schools are special because they start from right principles. They, also, are having their problems as their teachers are drawn more from the secular world with secular educations as opposed to the sisters, brothers, and priests who taught in days gone by. Still, they are at least trying to start from right first principles.

What are similarities on Catholic school and Christian school?

Catholic AnswerThe similarities would be pretty impressive as they are the same thing, if you are referring to Catholic schools and protestant schools, you need to ask that question. AnswerCatholics are a particular group of people who fall under the jurisdiction of the Pope and called as Catholics. So the schools run by the priests or nuns are called as Catholic schools. Whereas there are some other group of Christians like the Protestants, Orthodox Christians, etc have their own institutions and these are known as Christian schools. So the main difference is that the Catholic schools are run by the Catholic Church and the Christian schools are run by other Christian sects.
