An author defines it as " the systematic study of the groups and societies humans build and how these affect our behavior... Sociology comes from two (2) foreign words: socious, a Latin term which means companion or associate and logos, a Greek term for study; from its etymology then, it simply means the study of man in relation with his companions or associates. Every person is born into the company of others, never inisolation and has to depend on others and vice-versa."

(I am trying to find other definitons. Thank you).
