it is bottle nosed
In some ways, yes, because a bottle nosed dolphin IS a dolphin. However, not all dolphins are bottle nose dolphins.
some dolphins are in danger like the river dolphin but the bottle-nosed dolphin is luckily one that is not on the dangered list
There is the Bottle-Nosed Dolphin, the Boto Dolphin, the Hourglass Dolphin, and more!
I think their are because only some dolphins are bottle nosed and only some whales have bottle nae shapes.
1) Bottle Nosed Dolphins as well as all dolphins, sleep with one eye open to protect the rest of the pod. 2) Bottle Nosed Dolphins have brains bigger than a human! 3) Bottle Nosed Dolphins are one of the most intelligent animals to ever walk (or swim;) this planet. 4) Bottle Nosed Dolphins have tiny hairs on it's skin. 5) Male Bottle Nosed Dolphins capture female Bottle Nosed Dolphins. 6) Bottle Nosed Dolphins aren't endangered because of hunting. They're endangered because Bottle Nosed Dolphins hunt Tuna, and so do humans. So some dolphins get stuck in the nets and die. To help save the dolphins, buy "Dolphin Save" Tuna cans next time you go shopping for food. 7) When Bottle Nosed Dolphins are born, the mother points her nose down and the calf shoots to the surface for it's first breath of air.

Tall is a measurement that would be applied to an animal that walks or stands. Dolphins are marine animals and do not do this. ~ Based solely on the Bottle-nose Dolphin (for this answer only) The bottle-nose dolphin is around 8 feet (2.5m) long and weighs between 440-660 lbs (200-300kg). Because there are some forty species of dolphins all with differing characteristics this answer is an average only

That would be an almost definite no!!!!! Unless you're a hobo who found a way to live in a zoo. But I have heard of some marine biologists having like a special place where they live that has an area sometimes with dolphins in it. hope i could help : )
mainly in shallow waters bottle nosed ones in warmer waters and some in rivers
The bottlenose dolphin is called a bottlenose for two reasons that i see:It's body is slender like a wine bottle, andIt's nose is round like a coke can. When a dolphin is referred to as a "Bottlenose Dolphin", than that dolphin is of the Tursiops Truncatus (Common Bottlenose Dolphin) or Tursiops Aduncus (Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin).its named that because its snout is bottle-shapedBecause their nose is shaped liked a bottle. They have a round shaped snout and some people have lead to call them bottlenose dolphins because their nose, it the shape of a bottle. The answer to your question would be because they have a certain roundedness to their snout. Some say it is shaped like a bottle.
