The biggest 'con' to recycling is that it gives the consuming public a false sense of 'security'; a sense that they're doing something to benefit the environment. In fact, the only real benefit to the environment is to slow the damage from human folly. The folly still goes on. Recycling is only STEP ONE in a journey of many miles. Unless the humans realize how they are contributing to the damage and those other many steps are taken, recycling is of little value.
Using the word 'con' was a good choice for your question because the public is conning itself to believe that just by recycling they are 'helping' the environment. Very much like the person who has a Diet Soda with their big mac, fries, and apple pie.
Mandatory recycling is thought of as a good thing although there are also cons to it. A pro would be more recycling of goods and a con would be the punishments of not following the rule.
collection costs, fumes from factories, waste from factories
PROS Recycling is good for our environment because we are reusing the things that we already used and if everybody recycled we wouldn't need to cut down as much trees. CONS Recycling uses energy and it also pollutes the Earth because of machinery use.
The cons of recycling include high costs, energy consumption, and pollution from recycling processes. These impacts can strain resources, contribute to greenhouse gas emissions, and harm ecosystems. Additionally, improper recycling practices can lead to contamination and waste mismanagement, further damaging the environment and society.
con: melting it will use energy and release chemicals into the atmosphere
some cons are that yo mama is so fat
what are some major drawbacks for choosing and or recycling paper?

share pro and cons for hernan cortez
The cons: Takes time to do In some places if you don't recycle it is illegal The Pros: You can get money for what you recycle (aluminum just about everywhere, and places that have CRV tax you get it back, sometimes up to $.10 a bottle, etc) You reduce the amount of resources needed to make the same item compared to making it without recycling It saves natural resources as it takes less energy to make something with recycled material rather something new It saves space in landfills. The items that we recycle are not biodegradable.
Recycling is easy to do. If your area of the world doesn't have a recycling program, you can still be creative and recycle. Check out this website for some creative recycling ideas: http://www.allfreecrafts.com/recycling-crafts/
