Yes rubbing alcohol will take the nail polish remover off but not as well as nail polish remover

Acetone is the main ingredient in nail polish remover. Buy a quart for 3 dollars and add a few drops of lemon oil and you have saved yourself about 50 bucks.
PS. the lemon oil is optional :)

Nail polish remover is strong alcohol and chemicals mixed together. The nail polish remover can kill the plant just like something like bleach would.

Nails polish remover or hot water. You can soak your nails in hot/warm water and take an electrical nail file and remove it. Or you could be cheap like me and rub it off with nail polish remover. Depending on the nail glue that you used, non acetone nail polish remover usually works the best.
You probably can't remove nail polish remover from cotton sheets. Nail polish remover is like an acid and has probably discolored the print on your sheets. Stay ahead of stains, catch them quickly and you will be able to save your stuff.
As I have heard, you can use Windex. Ive heard it works like a charm. You can also use a Non-Acetone Nail Polish remover.
Nail polish remover. You could use nail polish remover but what works easier and faster is acid-tone and that's the stuff they use in salons ok i hope you like my advise Improved by Kelsib98
Because water isn't a good remover unless yooh scrub and scrub until it comes off and the nail remober has nail chemicals or something like that
I have never tried it with gum, but nail polish remover works great for a lot of things. You must be careful though, it can bleach whatever you are trying to remove the gum from. There is a cleaning substance called "Goo-gone" that works really well for stuff like this too.
Then that's a thing that happened.
A solvent, like nail polish remover
