Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand (I Want To Hold Your Hand).
EDIT: AND Sie Liebt Dich (She Loves You)
Past Masters Volume 1, and was made in 1964.
In Europe it was part of 'With the Beatles' released in 1963.In the US it was part of 'Meet the Beatles'.
Yesterday... And Today in the US; Past Masters(not issued until 1987) in the UK. (The Beatles had a policy in the UK that anything issued on single would not appear on album, after their first hits; Capitol Records in the US ignored that policy.)
It was first released on the U.K./Australia compilation album called "A Collection of Beatles Oldies... but Goldies" in 1966. It appears on the U.S compilation "Hey Jude" that was released in 1970. It also appears on "1962-1966" ('73), "Past Masters, Vol. 1" ('88) and "The Beatles 1" (2000).
The song "Get Back" was originally released on April 11th of 1969. It was later released in a new mix in the 1970 album, Let It Be. It was also on the album, Past Masters.
That's a REALLY good question....somewhat difficult to research. However, here's the answer: It was released only as a single in the US on VeeJay (they had the rights BEFORE Capitol Records. BUT, for some reason it was never included on the Vee Jay 'Introducing the Beatles' album in the Us. It was not until 1973 that it was included on an album in the US (obviously AFTER they had broken up as a group): The Beatles 62-66 on capitol records. I believe its also on '1' which came out a few years ago. It is also included on Past Masters, volume I. The two volumes of Past Masters contain the thirty three tracks which were never originally intended for inclusion on Beatles albums. See the discussion page for more details.
"Lady Madonna" was not originally on an album. It appeared on two compilations: Hey Jude in 1970, and Past Masters Volume 2 in 1987.
The "Hey Jude" album was a US Capital release only. American issues of Beatles albums always deleted a few tracks from each one. Hey Jude was a compilation of various "unreleased in the US on an album" tracks. All these songs are releaesed on CD on the original albums, or the Past Masters CD's.
Past Masters, Volume One includes both songs.
NONE! It was a single and as most people know, many Beatles singles were not included on albums. In February 1988, Past Masters Volumes 1 and 2 were released which included all the "A" and "B" sides of all singles never previously released on an album. These two albums also included a few different versions of songs that had been previously released on albums. Good value for Beatles fans.
Lady Madonna was originally just a single, but has since appeared on various Beatles complation albums, such as Hey Jude (1970), 1967-1970 (1973), 20 Greatest Hits (1982), Past Masters, Volume Two (1988) and 1 (2000).
There are 13 British albums with some tracks that were never featured on an album (Look up Past Masters Vol 1 and 2) The albums are: Please Please Me, With the Beatles, A Hard Days Night, Beatles for Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt.Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The Beatles (commonly referred to as The White Album), Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, and Let it Be. (If you wanted American Albums I'm sorry because there are a lot of those and I do not know many of them)
