You can change a John Deere LA 175 mower deck belt configuration by checking the diagrams and instructions in the owner's or manufacturer's manual basically.
You might be able to find this on the John Deere website. There are also ones available with the part that you purchased.
I have one that is a 175 Hydro and it uses an AM101054 which is very common for Kawasaki engines. I got one at the local lawn equipment shop for $10.
best spark pluguse a ngk.cu they are the best spark plug for that year.and they also workk very well.so i hope this helps you out.I have a 1975 Yamaha DT 175 that I have owned since 1976 when I bought it new. I have also owned a 1975 Yamaha DT 125, Dt 80 and MX 175. Being that I've owned all these bikes and that I still own a 1975 Yamaha DT 175 that I bought brand new, I know what spark plug it takes. It takes a NGK B8ES. A Champion N3C can also be used.
No fuel is getting to the cylinder, if there is good spark, assuming you checked the plug, wire and distrubitor. If spark is good right at the plug, then the intake valve is stuck shut.
A John Deere belt diagram can be found in an owner manual. The manual should have all the diagrams, and other information for the tractor.
