Yes most marriage counselors have to have degrees in certain areas and they probably do have special training. But they are some people who are marriage counselors who don't have degrees. So I would make sure if your looking for a marriage counselor to make sure they have a degree.
Hindu marriage act is registration of marriage but not registered marriage that is this act provides for the registration of already solmenised marriage(ceremony as per section 7 of Hindu marriage act 1955). but it does not provide for the solmenisation of marriage by mere registration by the regiatrar if the prior marriage has not taken place as per section 7 of the said act. Hence any such registration with out actual maraiage is deemed to be fake registration of marriage. Where as special marraige act 1954 is registered marriage that is this act provides for the solmenisation of marraige by the registrar. where in prior notice of 1 month is served n marriage is declared after completion of the said period. Hence Hindu marriage act is registration of marriage and special marraige act is registered marriage.

Congratulatiions! In today's world ten years of marriage deserves a special celebration! Why don't you go out to dinner, just the two of you! Forget your friends and relatives. Wouldn't it be nice if just the two of you celebrate. After my 42 years of marriage I do not need a party. Just enjoy each other.
In India, court marriage and civil marriage are often used interchangeably, but there are subtle differences based on context: Court Marriage Governed by the Special Marriage Act, 1954. A secular, legal process where the marriage is solemnized and registered in a court or Marriage Registrar’s office. Requires a 30-day notice period for public objections. Ideal for interfaith, inter-caste, or LGBTQ+ couples (post-legalization of same-sex unions). Civil Marriage A broader term for non-religious, legally recognized marriages performed by a government authority (e.g., registrar). In India, this is essentially synonymous with court marriage under the Special Marriage Act. Key Similarities Secular: No religious rituals required. Legal Validity: Recognized nationwide. Documentation: Requires age/address proof, affidavits, and witnesses. Key Difference Terminology: “Civil marriage” is a global term, while “court marriage” is India-specific under the Special Marriage Act. In Kerala, marriage registration can be done under the Hindu Marriage Act or the Special Marriage Act. Couples must first fill out an application form and submit it to the local Marriage Registrar along with required documents such as age proof, identity proof, and photographs. After verification, a notice of the intended marriage is published, allowing a 30-day period for objections. If no objections arise, the marriage is registered, and a certificate is issued.
