if ur talking about speech AND drama...technically, they are two different things. Basically, speech mainly deals with communication while drama deals with theatre. They are connected. Both deal with words and expressions.

The speech consists of the character's own reflections and serves to give the audience a peek inside the character's head so that they might better understand the play or the character's motivations.
