The answer is yes AND no. Yes because it has a much longer half-life than hydrocodone (it lasts much longer and stays in the sytem longer), but also no because hydrocodone has a stronger euphoric effect. You get more of a "high" from hydrocodone than methadone. But to answer your specific question, is not really possible because they are very different and effect people differently. If you have never taken methadone before and do not have a tolerance for opiates, that a methadone 10mg would be stronger and would get you "higher", but for people with more tolerance a vicodin 10mg(which is hydrocodone) would get you more of a "high". Problem is Methadone will stop giving the euphoric effect within a week, while you will get high off 10mg Vicodin's for maybe a month or 2 before building tolerance and needing more.
10 mgs of methadone is way stronger than lortab, which is hydrocodone. You may not feel the methadone for a while, though, so, please dont eat the methadone and then keep going because you havent felt it kick in yet. Basically, the lortab will kick in faster, but by weight, methadone kills the lortab everytime. If you doubt anything i said, go to ask.com or Google and type in "opiate conversion chart and it will give you the eqivelant strengths and dosages, although when it comes to methadone, the answers may wildly vary. Just please be careful, as i am not a pharmicist nor do i have any type of pharmacological training. Be careful please!
Methadone is definitely stronger than morphine & just about any other pain releiver you can think of.
This is an obvious question... 10mg's of Methadone is stronger than 5mg's. THe more MG's you get the stronger it is.
yes it is stonger
methadone
methodone
10mg of Methadone is equivalent to 5micrograms of Fetanyl. Fetanyl is tremendously stronger than Methadone. Fetanyl is measured in micrograms, Methadone in mg.... hope this helped...
If 10mg methadone is an ok dose for you, then go for it my friend (:
5mg of Methadone tends to be about $5.
This truly depends on if you take any medications in the benzodiazipines class. Some that you may of heard of are Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan... there are many others but you are most likely to have heard of xanax or Valium as they are the most commonly know, and in the states Klonopin is one of the most commonly prescribed, due to it's "Lack of dependency quality" this class of drugs in most countries are "controlled" meaning a medical professional would have to prescribe it to you. To get to the nitty-gritty bare bones answer; YES 10mg of Valium is the strongest dose they make... however it is about equal in strength to .5mg of Xanax... similar yet largely different effects, Xanax is most commonly prescribed as an EXTREMELY fast acing drug to be taken when an anxiety attack come on, and is very powerful, yet Valium is more slow to act, and has more of a relaxing, tiring effect. So for someone that takes 5 1mg xanax a day, Valium is not strong to that user, however for someone that has never taken one of these medications before or does not take benzodiazipines regularly, consult with your Doctor to make sure that 10mg is NOT to strong for you.
5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg
This is the backwards way of asking the question. Aprx. 60mg of oxycodone, equals 10mg of methadone.
10mg of methadone is equal to 80 mg of oxycontin
In a literal sense, no. One is solid while the other is liquid - and liquid gets absorbed into your body faster. However, 5mg is 5mg so I would imagine the dosage would be the same.
About $5 per 10mg on the "street"
my doctor says cyclobenzaprine 10mg is stronger
