Strontium-90 which is a highly dangerous radioactive component of nuclear fallout from above ground testing of nuclear weapons. This spreads throughout the environment to contaminate dairy, beef, pork, basically all products of the soil. Grass to the cow to the milk to the table to your bones and organs, you get the idea.

However, stable strontium (non-radioactive) is non-toxic. It seems to be, so far in testing, the most effective substance yet found for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis as well as other bone conditions.
