Its a winter crop. It is much more nutririous than rice itself. Its grown mainly in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. Barley is a subsidiary food for the wheat eaters. It is also diet for the patients. Its grown mainly in Uttar Pradesh and bihar. Likewise Maize is also grown here having same popularity as Barley.Like this there are huge number of crops grown in India.
