∙ 11y agoTo the south and east of the Fertile Crescent was a continuation of the Indus River Valley, home of Mohenjadaro and the Rama Empire-a confederation of seven cities. This was about the time of Abraham or a little earlier that we read of in The Bible. The land was very fertile and its position in relation to the globe was bordering the temperate and tropical regions. The soil, being mostly volcanic, was also favorable for long growing seasons and ideally, this was a paradise at this time.
