Syroco wood is a material that resembles carved wood. It is a molded material and it was first implemented by Syracuse Ornamental Company. The company became Syroco, Inc., in the 1930s.
Syroco was founded in 1890 by Adolph Holstein as a family owned business focused on the production of decorative wood products (Syracuse Ornamental Company). In 1962 Syroco introduced decorative Wall Decor products molded in resin and began its resin Patio Furniture business in 1986. Syroco has developed through the years under several ownerships and diverse operating methodology. However, its strong heritage, and superior craftsmanship in creating ornate, detailed designs have brought Syroco to where it is today. Recently, Syroco has joined the corporation of Vassallo. This recent acquisition brings two great heritages of manufacturing expertise and opens a world of opportunity for growth and expansion, not only in the U.S., but worldwide. Looking forward, Syroco welcomes the opportunity to be a part of the Vassallo family and bring to its customers the best of the best.
