Tabouleh originates from Lebanon. It is a salad, the main ingredient being chopped Parsley. Other ingredients include Mint, fine bulgar wheat (also called cracked wheat that comes in three sizes, fine medium & course). Spring Onion (scallions) Tomato, fresh lemon juice, salt, black pepper and olive oil. All veg is chopped extremely small along with the parsley. Usually served on long leaf lettuce. Can also form part of a mezza of Hummus, grilled meats such as chicken and lamb.
