From the popular Twilight Saga of books and movies, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black are the two love interests for the main character, Bella Swan.

In merchandising and fan-based groups, those who support Bella and Edward coupling are commonly called "Team Edward". Likewise, those who support Jacob and Bella being together are called "Team Jacob".

Burger King, being a prime example, has taken "Team Edward" and "Team Jacob" and put the actors' faces on cups, shirts, etc. for gifts when purchasing meals or winning sweepstakes. The Teams are frequently used to easily express who supports whom in the books.
