A Double Doodle dog, also known as the North American Retriever, is an advanced-generation mixed 'designer breed' dog that results from the intentional breeding of a Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever + Poodle) with a Labradoodle (Labrador Retriever + Poodle). This combination breed is one of those preferred and selected for service dog duty and is known for combining good temperament with drive suitable for service dog use, as well as being an excellent family pet for reasons of good temperament and a tendency towards low-shedding and hypoallergenic qualities.
the average cost for a labradoodle is between 1000 and 1500

An F1 Labradoodle = Poodle crossed with a Labrador Retriever.F2 = F1 Labradoodle crossed with F1 LabradoodleF3 = F2 Labradoodle crossed with F2 Labradoodle etcWhen mixing generations, you add one to the lower generation parent, ie F4 cross F1 = F2, or F3 cross F2 = F3 etcF1B, F2B, F3B etc just means a backcross to one of the parent breeds, usually the poodle, thus F3B = F3 Labradoodle cross Poodle
Australian breeder Wally Conron originally bred the Labrador Retriever in 1988 with the Poodle to create the Labradoodle, in an attempt to create a guide dog suitable for those allergic to dogs, Ideally, the Labradoodle should inherit the Labrador's eager to please personality and the Poodle's non-shedding coat. The Labradoodle certainly had the right temperament to be a guide dog, but some did not have the non-shedding coat. Today, some breeders bred Labradoodles to create an easy to train dog suitable for owners allergic to dogs. Others are just interested in the "designer dogs" trend.
