Temple Square is the international headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church), located in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Temple Square is one of the most visited sites in Utah and contains many impressive and historic buildings as well as beautiful gardens and statues. Some of the places you can visit on Temple square are:

The Salt Lake Temple is one of the most recognized symbols of the Church. While only faithful members are allowed inside, a scale model and virtual tour of the interior are available at the South Visitor Center, only a few steps away.
The Tabernacle is home of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and concerts and performances of the choir, as well as recitals featuring it's impressive pipe organ, are available free to the public daily.
The Assembly Hall is a large historic public meeting hall also used for concerts and other events. The North Visitor Center features three stories of art, films, and interactive displays about Mormon beliefs.
Across the street to the west are the Family History Library, where millions of genealogical records can be searched and professional assistants will help you find your ancestors free of charge; and the Museum of Church History and Art, which features historic artifacts and artwork from Mormons around the world.
Across the street to the North is the Conference Center. This impressive structure covers an entire city block. It features an auditorium which seats over 20,000, hallways filled with artwork, and a landscaped rooftop with views of the Salt Lake Valley.
North-East of Temple Square is the Church History Library. This building houses and displays most of the historic records of the Church. If you are researching any event or person involved in Mormon history, this is a must see!
East of Temple Square are the administrative buildings of the Church. The Relief Society Building holds the offices for the female leadership of the Church. The Church Office Building and the Church Administration Building hold offices for priesthood leaders and other departments of the church, and the Joseph Smith memorial building holds offices, conference rooms, a chapel, and several restaurants. Tours of the public areas of these buildings are available.
At the far south east corner are the former homes of Brigham Young - the Lion House and the Beehive house. These homes are open for guided tours, the Lion House also features a cafe.
