He played his 5 string on Lock and Key. Period. I cannot remember where but I read in an interview with Geddy that Lock and Key was the 1 time he has used a 5 string. Counterparts was the jazz run through his Wal D.I setup into an old ampeg amp from the 70's that he used for his rick around fly by night era. He did disguise his jazz as a wal fairly well on that album though. Thus causing ALOT of confusion
im trying to figure out if largemouth bass will bite in a Maryland pond during early February
The device on the body of your bass where the strings attach is the bridge. All you need do is remove the bridge you have and install one with a tremolo--but before you do, know that a new bridge for your bass is a couple hundred bucks, and you're playing a bass not a freakin' Guitar. Neither Geddy Lee, Steve Harris nor Gene Simmons use whammy bars on their basses; the reason they don't is a bass doesn't really need one.
Frank Marino-lead guitar, vocals; Vince Marino-backup guitar;Paul Harwood-bass guitar; Jim Ayoub-drums. This was Ayoub's last album with the band, and the first to be credited solely as "Frank Marino". Timm Biery replaced him in 1981.
Fry, fingerling, juvenile, adult.
During his early years (Weather Report & George Duke) he used a fretless Lobue bass.
