Not even close, the RS V8 came with the L03 5.0L TBI (throttle body injection) not TPI (tuned port injection) which made only 170hp. as opposed to the 5.0 TPI which made 225hp. An RS automatic on a good day would run a 15.7 1/4mi. @ 87mph a manual one would maybe run a tenth or two quicker, if the driver was halfway decent. As far as 0-60, would be in the 7-8 second range. 5.0 TBI cars were pigs, low compression motors made for fuel economy, and one that runs well will return 27-30 mpg. highway.
