delete files or uninstall programs. The c drive is used by the operating system and should not be allowed to get full
The A and B drives had special designations. Even though modern PCs don't have them any more, the letters are still not used. You can do things like insert a Zip drive into your machine and use that as a B drive. It may be possible to reassign the C drive in a similar way, but there is no reason why you would do that. The C drive should be left as your C drive.
C drive
The letter used by Windows XP (ie a, b, c, d, e etc) is essentially a reference. By default, letters 'a' and 'b' are floppy drives and drive 'c' is the hard drive that the operating systems (Windows XP in this case) is stored. The other letters are used whenever Windows XP detects another drive. if you have a CD/DVD drive in your computer it is liekly to be displayed as drive 'd'.
disk By default, 'C' denotes a partition of your hard disk drive (given that it has been partitioned) in which windows and its associated system files are stored. C is known as the Local Disk Drive.

DRIVE C IS KNOEN AS WINDOW DRIVE,SO ITS DIFFICULT TO HIDE DRIVE C.... but if you wnt to do so ,then install your window inanother drive......
Because Drive D has more space than Drive c because of their differents EXAMPLE : Drive D is data. Data is important so it has more room than drive C , Drive c of course is just C ,so that makes Drive C less important! C is just its name nothing fancy.
Most of the time it is "C" the next drive letter in line would be "E" If you recently reformatted a single hard drive it will be "C" if you have another already formatted hard drive in your computer or you have a second partition it would be "E" So, unless you changed it, it is going to be "C".
depends on the OS, but for most it is : defrag <DRIVE> example: defrag c:
