By default, 'C' denotes a partition of your hard disk drive (given that it has been partitioned) in which windows and its associated system files are stored. C is known as the Local Disk Drive.
The drive that the OS is installed on
The L drive on a computer typically refers to a specific drive letter assigned to a local disk drive, such as a hard drive or solid-state drive. Drive letters are used by the operating system to uniquely identify each storage device connected to the computer. The L drive letter is usually assigned by the system administrator or automatically by the operating system during the drive partitioning process. Users can access and manage files stored on the L drive through the file explorer or command line interface.
A Drive Letter C: D:
A: is the first floppy drive and is seldom in use today. C: is most often the first master hard drive partition. D: is most commonly the CD Rom in a system with a single hard drive partition.
It could be anything depending upon how many other drives you have. It would probably be the next letter after whatever letters have already been used.
The Properties screen is used for doing this. If you go to My Computer (or Computer on newer ones), you can right-click on a drive letter and select Properties. From there, you go to Tools, and there you find options to defragment, check for errors, and even backup your data.
Depends on what it is on your computer. On my computer it is my CD ROM drive, on my other computer it is a stand alone external hard drive. It can be a USB drive or just about anything. More information on what you have on your computer, the question could be correctly answered. Thanks Gene
A floppy drive or a CD drive or a DVD drive.
.Measuring hard drive .software that can calculate
Most of the time it is "C" the next drive letter in line would be "E" If you recently reformatted a single hard drive it will be "C" if you have another already formatted hard drive in your computer or you have a second partition it would be "E" So, unless you changed it, it is going to be "C".

Any Flash drive can be used for that purpose. Just plug the Flash drive into your computer, open "My Computer", open the Flash drive, and drag and drop your documents.
