It is an urban legend. According to a book published by Mexican author Carlos Trejo, one night he and his friends played Ouija in his home, located in the Cañitas neighborhood in Mexico City. During the "game", several paranormal events started to occur, culminating with the bizarre deaths of everyone involved in the incident during the following months, except Trejo himself.
This "incident" has been qualified as a hoax, and in 2007, the author himself publicly acknowledged it as such.
