Well the curb weight of the GL with an EA81 is around 2100 pounds so its probably less because you have to take off a lot of weight from all the extra body and interior features so its probably around 1800-2000 pounds (this is just a guess)
The curb weight of the 1985 Chevrolet Blazer is listed as 3760 pounds. The curb weight does not include any fluids or accessories.
No. The halfshafts in an ea81's (80-84) and ea82's are larger. If your XT is turbo you must use an axle from another turbo subaru between 85-89 so xt (turbo), gl10(turbo) and RX. dosent matter from which because all the turbo ea82's are almost identical. However, if your XT is non turbo, it will take any axle from 85-89 gl,dl,gl10(non turbo) and brat. Heres a great Subaru site for older generation Subarus.... www.ultimatesubaru.org
A 2001 Volkswagen Bug (Beetle) can tow up to 85 percent of its curb weight. This means that the towing capacity is around 2,000 pounds. Check the door frame on the driver's side for the weight of the vehicle, as this model came with 2 different curb weights because of engine size.
About 9,000lbs For the F-250 King Cab HD(diesil) not sure about the reg cab or non diesel '85 F-250.
I was wondering the same thing as I'm looking at buying an 85 which I know I could always scrap, so I checked and found that it'd be about 3600 lbs. Hope this helps.
