This depends (oh the joys of Gematria):

Hebrew had a few different ways of representing numbers depending on the desired symbolic meaning.

One way of representing 666 would be the character Vau (6) repeated 3 times.

Or you could use the character Mem-final (600), Samech (60) and Vau (6)

Or you could do it as Tau (400) Resh (200) Mem (40) Kaph (20) Heh (5) Aleph (1) because breaking a number into its additive factors is contextually correct as well.

However... if you are attempting to interpret the number 666 from the book of Revelation, keep in mind that John of Patmos (who wrote the book), wrote in a dialect of Greek and never spoke any Hebrew. So while it could be interpreted this way, it doesn't make sense to.

Also, keep in mind that up until the late 1800's many bibles also translated this passage as 636 (or 663) and that "666" has only recently become the norm (with only marginally conclusive evidence to support it).

In fact, keeping with the Greek interpretation, the best way to interpret 666 is as follows:

According to Genesis, Man was created on the 6th day. The number 3 is one of the earliest numeric symbols for perfection/balance/completion. The "perfected man" then becomes 666 (or 6 repeated 3 times). It is only this perfected man that can attain an audience with God and thereby challenge him directly (thus becoming an Anti-Christ).

However, since 666 has been a riddle since the book was written, I doubt we'll find a truly universally satisfactory answer ANY time soon.
