1,2,3,4,5,6 and the back wall cylinder numbers are 1,3,5 and the front is 2,4,6 ... ALL from left to right or from the belts towards the distributor.
if its a four cylinder its 1-3-4-2. the cylinders are numbered starting from the front of the engine (where the belts are) which is #1 and the next is #2 etc.
