Science is basically the pursuit of knowledge, so as long as humans have been around and we have been learning and exploring, there has been science. So it is impossible to say what the first science was, except to say that it was the first human experiences.
you are right Flukey, Science is the pursuit of knowledge but before the pursuit of knowledge, we were seeking for the truth. Curiosity led us in seeking for knowledge. I believe that Philosophy was the first Science and not to mention the oldest known Science. Before atoms were "scientifically proven", it was first mentioned by Democritus (a Greek Philosopher) that all matters are made up of indivisible elements called "atomos". The word Atom came from a Greek word "atomos". Science didn't know about atoms but Philosophy suggested it existed. This mean only that before Science, ancient people can explain things Philosophically. If you don't know, Philosophy is a Science.
We can say that Philosophy might be the first Science and the oldest Science.
