Fissure is a Normal Spell Card that destroys your opponent's monster with the lowest ATK.
As long as the lore of the card that destroyed Fissuresays "...negate the activation of...and destroy the card(s)" the effect of Fissure will not resolve because of the key word negate. However, if the lore states "...destroy...spell card..." the effect of Fissure resolves normally. In this case, even though the actual card, Fissure, was destroyed, its effect was still already put into play so it chains as link number one and the chain resolves normally without any cancellations.
If Dimensional Fissure is on the field then all the monsters are removed from play except for spells and traps, if you have an Imperial Iron Wall on the Field then everything goes to the graveyard

A long crack from which lava flows through is called a fissure. These fissures can be found along volcanic zones and can release lava during volcanic eruptions.
"Fissure" only determines what it will destroy when it resolves; this is why it is a non-targeting card. If "Scapegoat" were to be chained to "Fissure", then "Scapegoat" will resolve first, summoning the four 0/0 Sheep Tokens. "Fissure" will resolve next, and destroy the one with the lowest attack, almost definitely one of the tokens.
