When it comes right down to it Australians are fairly easy going they get along with people from any religion or nationality for that matter From time to time the media stirs things up a bit by subtly pushing on the race or religion button but all in all aside from a few particularly troubled people Australians have a good attitude toward their fellow countrymen where ever they are from. Politically Australians are free to stand for government and vote for the candidates of their choice and as a result of their history are able reject an existing government and change to a new one without so much of a ripple in the every day operation of life. No one is inclined to shoot anyone that has opposing political persuasions. Our Army is loyal to the Constitution and is a part of the public service unlike the situation that exists in many less fortunate country's Australia has a welfare system for those that find themselves unable to take care of themselves as well as a medical welfare system that looks after everyone that does or does not have private insurance. Generally Australians have a good attitude towards their country their people and in many cases people of the world in general
