I am trying to find the latin for "Nothing is ever Simple." I would like this for my family motto. I`m directly decended from William de peche (half brother of William the Conqueror -William 1st) and in the process of putting together some kind of updated Coat of Arms. The above renewed motto may seem silly but it pins our thrust for success exactly, as, I think most will itentify with, even the most straightforward of tasks, unbelievably will be frought with unpredictable obsticles. If anyone can help with this, it would be great! Many thanks Stephen Peach
nothing we do it for them
The Collins English Dictionary & Thesaurus gives it as, "excellent", or, simply, "upwards" (not "ever upwards"), from the Latin for "higher".It also means "packing material".

"Nothing" is nihil in Latin, or nil for short.
"ex nihil" is Latin for "from nothing", I think that's what you're after? Your question's worded a bit strangely :p
Latin -- nihil, meaning "nothing" ; a from the Latin " ad " -- meaning to Thus, you get " reduction to nothing ".

It still means nothing in Latin. Latin words can not end in "b" and Latin has no letter "y".
