The Lewis dot structure for C2H6O begins with two C atoms singly bonded to each other. On the unbonded sides, there are five single bonded H atoms and one single bonded O atom. The O atom has two pairs of dots and one additional single bond attached to an H atom.

there are multiple ways to do this structure.

here's one:

create a five pointed ring of the 3 Carbon and 2 Oxygen. Bonded together by a single bond for each. Around each of the 3 Carbon atoms, extend 2 hydrogen with single bonds. Add 2 lone pairs to each oxygen atom. Count and match your electrons. You should have 30 total. All done!
