The maximum dose will vary by patient age and by what you are using the drug to treat, but the maximum recommended beginning dose for an adult is 20 mg per day. After that, the dose meeds to be customized by your doctor, based on how your body reacts.
The risks and potential benefits of the medication must be carefully evaluated by your doctor before beginning treatment or changing the dose. Increasing the dose of Adderall also increases the risks of serious adverse events including high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, and sudden death.
The answer depends on a lot of information. For example, your size can affect the level of any drug that your body can tolerate. The normal dose for someone with ADD is 10 to 30 milligrams twice a day. Taking too much can make you blackout. I had a friend who did this. He blacked out while he was driving and now he no longer has a driver's license. Try to think about what's going on in your life that is making you want to abuse this drug. Whatever it is, there are better solutions out there.
The maximum dosage of adderall that a shrink will prescribe is 60mg to be taken over the course of the day in three 20mg tablets. However, that is a patently absurd amount of amphetamine to be ingesting on a daily basis - not only is it incredibly bad for your heart and mental health (Google 'amphetamine psychosis') but it will almost certainly result in dependency.
Usual dose 5 mg to 60 mg per day in divided doses, depending on the individual patient response. It is important to work with your doctor because safe dosages vary depending on the person.
Answer: I couldn't see a doctor giving you more than 50mg.
Zero. Go see a doctor. If you really need it that bad then you shouldn't have a problem getting a script, and you won't end up in the hospital with numb fingers and cold sweats.
depends how much tolerence you have i can take 180 MG and not OD but ive been taking for a long time
there is none
As much as they wan'tget it
The highest dosage Adderall XR comes in is 30 mg.
If you were prescribed both than your doctor should've given you a certain dosage and told you when to take it. Dosages will vary depending on the patient's profile and the severity of the condition for which the drug is being prescribed.
10 hours
Ativan, Xanax, Klonopin ~ all the benzos. I take 60 XR Adderall per day and about 3 Ativan 2 mg.
Only your physician or pharmacist can answer that question.
No idea what you're asking, but adults do take adderall, and can range in dosage depending on ... a lot. (once a day or twice a day as well)
This would depend on how long you need the pill to last. 10 mg of regular adderall will only last about 4 to 6 hours, whereas, a 10 mg XR adderall can last anywhere from 10 to 12 hours. Once you decide how many hours you need it to last for you, it would be good to try different dosages of the particular one you chose. For example, if you chose the 10 mg adderall XR and you feel it is not as strong as you would like, ask your doctor to up your dosage to about 20 mg XR. Every XR will last the same amount of time, the dosage only intensifies the effects.
No way....adderall is broke down immediately in the system where as the extended-release (xr) releases small amounts over a six hour period or so. I have taken both and adderall is alot more effective than xr! For the record, Adderall xr IS Adderall, lol. It has an integrated time release formula, combined with the capsule which supplements the time release. Instant release Adderall tablets have a faster onset, but their half life is significantly reduced from that of the XR. So in other words, technically yes, XRs are less potent according to dosage, but the effects are much shorter. In my personal opinion, 3 extended release Adderall has the equivalent affect of 2 instant releases, give or take a few mgs. If you take one 20mg XR, the kick will be that of a 10mg instant release.
Yes; there is no known interactions with Adderall XR and Omega 3.
Do you mean Adderall XR?Adderall XR has a lot of side effects if you stop cold turkey. The amount and severity of your side effects depends on how long you have been on Adderall XR and the dosage. Higher dosage with longer treatment time means more severe side effects.Since Adderall is a stimulant, most individuals feel lethargic and tired after quitting Adderall. Others will sleep for hours on end. Some will have digestive issues as well as depression. Most doctors will not recommend you stopping Adderall cold turkey, especially if your dosage is high. Most will take a stepping down approach where your dosage is slowly decreased over time.
The symptoms of dry mouth will leave after stopping Adderall XR within a day or two. Adderall XR is something that does not stay in your system.
Adderall XR is an extended release form of an amphetamine medication most commonly prescribed for ADHD. It's notorious for its abuse among college students as a "study drug" but is very effective in managing legitimate ADHD. Adderall XR comes in forms of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 mg with 60mg a day being the largest accepted prescribed dosage.
