in the centre of an atom is a nucluese that contains protons and neutrons, the neutrons have negelible charge but have a mass (the give the atom mass) the proton has neglible mass (like an electron) but exerts a positive charge to pull the electrons in that have a negative charge

What makesup atoms?

neutons, protons, and elctrons. the protons are positivly charged and are in side the nucleus(middle) of an atom. the neutrons have no charge and are inside the nucleus. the electrons are negativly charged and orbit the nucleus.

What charged atoms particle is called?

Electrons are negatively charged (around the nucleus) and protons are positively charged (inside the nucleus)

proton

What positively-charged particle is found in the nucleus of all atoms?

Protons are found in the nucleus of all atoms and are positively charged.

What atomic particle that is negatively charged?

This is the particle in an orbital in the space around the atoms nucleus and it is called an electron.

Atoms are composed of three particales called?

subatomic particles called protons(positivly charged), neutrons (no charge) and electrons(negativly charged). Nucleus of the atom consists of protons and neutrons whilst the electrons surround the nucleus.

What are atoms and electrons?

An atom is something that is very small, and is a particle of all types of matter. An electron is a negatively charged particle that surrounds the nucleus of an atom

What is a negative charged particle that is one of the three basic building blocks of atom?

This is the particle in an orbital in the space around the atoms nucleus and it is called an electron.

A positively charged particle found in the nucleus of an atom is what?

A proton. You can easily find this on the web.

What is a minus charges particle in a atom?

Atoms have 3 elementary particles, protons and neutrons in the nucleus and electrons in orbitals. The protons are +1 charged, the neutrons are neutral, an the electrons are -1 charged

What is the negatively charged particle that is one of the three basic building blocks of atoms?

This is the particle in an orbital in the space around the atoms nucleus and it is called an electron.
