From my experience gator rasslin' I'd say about tree fiddy
The alligator has an impressive bite force of 3000 pounds. This is equal to 1360.77 kg. It is said that, pound for pound, alligators have the strongest bite force than any other animal in the world. However, a crocodile produces a greater bite force. Brady Barr measured the bite force of a very big Nile crocodile at 5000 pounds (2267.96kg)! And that was still a defensive bite, despite the brute force that the crocodile produced, as it bit the bite meter only when it was brought in its mouth, while it was resting. If this crocodile had bitten the bite meter while charging at it, especially in water, the bite force would have been even greater.
Yes an alligator has a stronger bite
A 13 foot alligator can bite with a pressure of about 3,000 lb. That is one and a half tons of total pressure! Saltwater crocodiles can have an even stronger bite force of 3,700 lb.
