The RMS Queen Mary was retired from service in 1967. Since that time it has been permanently moored in Long Beach, California and now functions as a tourist attraction. It includes restaurants, a hotel and a museum.
The Queen Mary 2 was officially launched in early 2003, completed in December 2003 and then christened by Queen Elizabeth in January 2004 after the Queen Mary, a retired ocean liner from 1936. The ship is a transatlantic ocean liner and is also used for cruises.

The Babington code was a code used in the 15 hundreds by Sir Anthony Babington to Mary queen of Scots when Mary was in imprisonened in England. She was trying to gain the throne by killing her cousin Elizabeth I until the code was found out and Babington was hung.

The Poseidon of course, was a fictional ship in the movie The Poseidon Adventure. The film makers used the RMS Queen Mary as a "stand in" or backdrop for the film. The RMS Queen Mary is 1,194 feet LOA (length overall) and the RMS Titanic was 882 LOA. So one could argue that although fictional, the portrayal of the Poseidon by the Queen Mary made it longer than the real Titanic.
Mary I was the daughter of King Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon, and, therefore, heir to the throne of England. Mary Queen of Scots was the daughter of King James V of Scotland and Mary of Guise. She was Queen of Scotland and, very briefly, France. She was actually Mary I of Scotland but the name Mary Queen of Scots is generally used to differentiate her from Mary I of England.
