RNA world Hypothesis.

Don't ya' hate bio? Aha' good luck to the both of us.
The properties of RNA make the idea of the RNA world hypothesis conceptually possible, although its plausibility as an explanation for the origin of life is debated. RNA is known to form efficient catalysts and its similarity to DNA makes its ability to store information clear.A slightly different version of the hypothesis is that a different type of nucleic acid, termed pre-RNA, was the first one to emerge as a self-reproducing molecule, to be replaced by RNA only later. This claim has been made due to (to date) failed attempts to efficiently synthesize activated RNA nucleotides which have the capability to undergo self-polymerization. Suggestions for 'simpler' nucleic acids include Peptide nucleic acid (PNA), Threose nucleic acid (TNA) or Glycerol nucleic acid (GNA). Despite their structural simplicity and possessing properties as good or greater than RNA, the chemically plausible generation of such monomers or oligomers under potentially prebiotic conditions has yet to be demonstrated.
The first biological catalyst that originated on Earth is believed to be RNA (ribonucleic acid). RNA can act as an enzyme, carrying out chemical reactions necessary for life. This hypothesis is supported by the fact that RNA has both information storage capabilities (like DNA) and catalytic abilities, making it a potential precursor to the evolution of more complex proteins.

None of those. Prions are infectious protein molecules which do not contain DNA or RNA.
a hypothesis is an educated guess of an observation about the world
self-replicating RNA molecules aided by ribozymes.

A hypothesis is an educated guess. It helps scientists understand the world. The function of the hypothesis gives structure to the process of understanding how the world works. A hypothesis is a reasonable guess; you start out with a hypothesis and then you can investigate further and find out if it is accurate. The formulation of a hypothesis provides a study with focus. It tells you what specific aspect of a research problem to investigate. A hypothesis tells you what data to collect and what not to collect, thereby providing focus to the study.
The function of the hypothesis is to give structure to the process of understanding how the world works.
The Scientific Method begins with posing questions on the natural world.
