Of course, for Jews and Muslims, the elevation of Jesus from a great prophet or messenger of the One-True-God to the actual Son of God (caused by the mistranslation of John 3:16 from Greek to Latin in which 'a son of God' became 'begotten son of God') is an abomination and an unforgivable slight against God. Both religions, however, consider Jesus a very important messenger and prophet, just not the Son of God. So the correct answer to the question is "the One-True-God is the figurehead for most of the world's monotheistic religions."
