The state of rural housing in Nigeria is terrible. This is because many rural dwellers are living in homes that are without the basic social infrastructure such as water, good roads, electricity and sanitation facilities, besides delapidated buildings. The rural dwellers seem to be third class citizens in their own God's given country. Haba, what what have they done to be treated this way? Some one out there needs to rise to rise up to the occasion and salvage the phenomenon. These people can not access loans to improve their housing and housing facilities (they are poor and illetrate). They need to be assisted by the very government they made (elected into office) and by other concerned crganizations. They must survive- yes they must survive in their mother land.To conclude, I wish to once again say rural housing in Nigeria is in total mess and needs to be considered by many concern people and organizations. These people in the rural areas need assistance.
