It's just one of the Presidential Dollar series of coins. The date 2008 is on the edge of the coin. The dual date 1825-1829 are the years John Quincy Adams was president. It's just a dollar, spend it.
It would be pretty difficult to have an 1825 silver dollar because the U.S. didn't mint that denomination for circulation between 1804 and 1835 inclusive. Please check your coin again and post a new question. If it really says "one dollar" on the back it's counterfeit.

No such coin exists, the 1825 cent is known as the Matron Head large cent and is about the size of a half-dollar not the size of modern day cents. The Indian Head cent wouldn't be minted until 1859.
