The name of the Hebrew Messiah, the branch from King David (Jeremiah 23:5), was prophesied in Zechariyah 6:12-13. The name of the son of the High Priest Yahuzadek, whos name was Yahushua, had the name of the Messiah. "Behold, a man who's name is BRANCH."

There is much confusion regarding this question. "Jesus" is the Anglicized version of the Roman "Iesus." "Iesus" is the Romanized version of the Greek "Iesous." "Iesous" is the Hellenized version of the Hebrew name Yahushua

The actual name of the Hebrew Messiah (anointed one) is Yahushua.
